Sponsorship policy
Aavrio is free to read and carries no display ads. To pay for it, we plan to offer startups featured placements. These rules apply to every placement.
Always labelled
Every paid placement carries a visible “Sponsored” label next to it, in the same place on every screen size.
Separate from the ranking
The trending startups list is ranked by our published method. Payment never changes a startup’s position in that list, and sponsored entries are shown separately from it. Search engines are also told that sponsored entries are not part of the ranking.
No paid coverage
A placement buys a labelled slot and nothing else. It does not buy news coverage, a guide, a review, a better description or the removal of anything critical. The editorial policy applies to sponsors exactly as it does to everyone else.
Who can sponsor
We review every sponsor before accepting a placement and may decline any of them. We do not accept placements that promise returns or that promote financial products we are not allowed to discuss.
We never accept placements for:
- crypto and virtual digital asset trading;
- betting, gambling and real-money gaming;
- stock tips, signal groups, or advisers not registered with SEBI;
- lending apps not tied to an RBI-regulated lender;
- schemes that promise guaranteed or fixed high returns, and MLM schemes;
- tobacco and alcohol.
