US freezes green card filings for TCS, Infosys and 6 other firms
The US Labor Department has frozen PERM green card applications for eight companies, including TCS, Infosys, Wipro and HCL Technologies. Current H-1B holders do not appear to be directly affected, but sponsored green cards at these firms are on hold.
